New to yoga or just want brush-up on your basics? Join Kathryn for this three-part series on the fundamentals of vinyasa yoga! By combining a workshop style breakdown and applied sequencing, classes will give students the opportunity to put into context the information as it comes to them. Students will be encouraged to explore modifications, alignment principles, and ask questions, with the hope of facilitating a safer and more confident practice.
Week one will introduce students to the breath work and poses that make up the foundational sequence of vinyasa flow. Students will learn terminology, alignment, and the purpose behind these movements, as well as experience variations and modifications.
