Experience a transformative fusion of somatic movement guided by Holly Bray, and sound healing facilitated by Lindsey Ewert in Somatics & Sound. This unique offering blends the therapeutic power of 432 Hz sound frequencies with gentle, embodied movement practices to unlock deep layers of tension and emotion stored in the body.

Through somatic practices, we will move slowly and intentionally to increase body awareness, release physical tension, and shift the nervous system into its rest, digest, and repair state. As we flow, the 432 Hz sound bath creates a resonant, healing frequency that supports the body’s natural process of letting go. The sound helps guide the mind into a deep state of relaxation, allowing the body to freely release what it no longer needs, while promoting a sense of peace and rejuvenation.

This class is designed to help you reconnect with your body, shift your awareness, and experience profound healing on a physical, emotional, and energetic level. Ideal for those looking to release stored emotions, ease chronic tension, and tap into the deep wisdom of the body.

Hatha Yoga Series with Victoria

Hatha Yoga, which translates to “force” in Sanskrit, emphasizes a balance between the sympathetic and parasympathetic aspects of the body. “hHa” symbolizes the masculine sun; “tha” represents the feminine moon. This practice aims to foster patience, strength, and stillness.

In a Hatha class, all standing, lying, and seated postures are typically held for about one minute each, focusing on static holds and ample cueing to assist with alignment. The pace of the class is slow and breath-focused, making it potentially intense both physically and mentally, yet also relaxing and profoundly centering.

This 3-part class series is suitable for both beginner yogis learning the poses and experienced practitioners who wish to deepen their practice and enhance their awareness of yoga postures. Join for one or all 3. Regular class credits apply!

  • 405 Northwest 30th Street Oklahoma City, OK, 73118 United States (map)

To maintain our health and well-being through all the seasons and cycles of life, we must attune ourselves to our inner landscapes. We reflect our natural surroundings, and Winter is the most Yin of all the seasons. This time is essential for allowing our bones to rest and our minds to listen. Like a seed buried underground, we all need a period of gestation. Forcing ourselves to act when the energy isn’t there or when the time isn’t right can deplete our reserves and hinder our potential. Within rest lies a wealth of power and wisdom.

On this Black Friday, we are stepping away from the chaos to create space for slowing down, tuning in, and nurturing ourselves. Guided by Shannon and Holly, this 3-hour session will start with an introduction to Traditional Chinese Medicine philosophy, followed by a slow, soothing flow designed to build reserves for the winter months. In the second half of the practice, we will surrender to stillness and settle into yin postures. The class will conclude with a guided meditation to ignite our imagination. Shopping can wait; this restorative class is like a healing balm for the soul.

Join Gildas Lemonnier for a 4-part series this fall! Regular class credits apply. All levels are welcome from beginners to advanced.

If you participated in the first class series or if you already practice inversions and arm balances, this second series is designed to help you go further and deepen your practice. If inversions and arm balances are new to you, this series will provide the necessary tools for you to safely start building strong foundations and self confidence.

Class structures are fluid and adaptable and options will always be available to serve the individual progress and needs of the students

Each class commences with a short and specific Vinyasa flow that prepares and conditions the body to support, balance and invert itself through a series of postures. The support of the floor, walls, props and peers facilitates the development of strong relationships to gravity with safety and confidence. Class becomes a laboratory of interactive learning where students have the opportunity to collaborate and assist one another with supportive tactile adjustments while progressing at their own pace.

Class 1: Basic mechanics. Students learn how to prepare the body, exploring the basic mechanics and applied anatomy essential to inverting our relationship to gravity with ease. Class is an opportunity for self assessment according to student’s comfortability and desires to improve. Postures may include headstands, crow pose, Pincha Mayurasana (elbow stand) and handstands. Postures are explored with the assistance of props, peers and the wall.

Class 2: Variations. Class will aim to refine and expand upon the principles introduced in class 1. Class progresses with variations and different forms associated with each posture. Examples may include one legged crow, splits and twists in a head, elbow and handstand.

Class 3: Transitions. Class will introduce transitions between inversions and arm balances, and also connecting postures into a flow. Examples may include floating between different arm balances, handstand kicks inside sun salutations, assisted handstand presses, and crow to headstand.

Class 4: Exploration. Class will incorporate more intermediate to advanced options that explore innovative transitions between postures.

Fall is the perfect time to get our book club started again! Join Amanda as we discuss, “The Practice is the Path: Lessons and Reflections on the Transformative Power of Yoga”, by Tias Little.

This book explores yoga as a spiritual path and offers guidance for embodying the wisdom of the practice. Tias offers key teachings from his journey, shares his struggles and joys as a yogi, and chronicles the transformation of his understanding and practice along the way. Each chapter is a lesson and includes companion practices to help you embody the teachings. His writing style is unique, a blend of poetic metaphor, clear instruction, compassion, and humor, bringing the teachings alive in an intimate and immediate way. This will be a fun read and appropriate for all…no matter where you find yourself on the path. As a part of your enrollment, you will receive a copy of the book, a journal with prompts to deepen your experience, plus four – 1 hour group discussion sessions. **This will be a safe space to discuss and explore your beliefs in a supportive community.

“A path is made by the multitudes who have gone before us. Like river rock, smoothed and polished by the ongoing flow of water, the path has been worn by wayfarers on quests similar to yours and mine. Thus we do not have to carve out a new trail. At first, we must learn to follow. The intent to follow guides us away from the false notion that this is ‘my way.’ As we follow, wetake faith, and the path itself is the guru, the guide.” -Tias Little

Yin is an introspective practice that offers a chance to turn inward and nurture a calm, quiet center. Poses are held for time with little to no muscular effort. The Yin practice embraces both Eastern and Western concepts: from an Eastern perspective, Yin poses stimulate the meridian lines and open energetic channels within the body; from a Western perspective, when a posture is held for time we apply moderate stress to the connective tissues (tendons, fascia, and ligaments). A healthy amount of stress hydrates and repairs the tissues and can ultimately restore range of motion.
